Knowledge Utilization Analysis
This Service offering is designed to assist organizations develop performance centric Knowledge Management (KM) and associated object management solutions. Objects in this context can be documents, images, voice recordings, video files etc. We have a specific methodology perfected over a 20 years and implemented at numerous companies to guide us in this area.
Most KM strategies acknowledge the need to change the focus on metrics (i.e. moving towards a knowledge economy), to engage people in socializing their tacit knowledge (i.e. fostering collaboration), and to enable systemic improvement processes (i.e. the "I" and "R" loops). They just do not really tell you how to do it or what technologies enable it according to the principles.
If people (internal or external) are having problems getting to the information they need or find the information to be inadequate, we can run an analysis and provide a landscape vie of the content to determine if it is structured and organized properly and where there are excessive redundancies or gaps which will make interactions inefficient.
Our knowledge utilization analysis focuses on four areas:
- KM Strategy -development of KM strategies and the effective deployment of those strategies.
- Object management strategies -similar to the above but looks a system such as document management and retrieval, image management etc. Here we can go down to infrastructure component level.
- Content Utilization Dashboards - designing dashboards depicting documents utilization across business areas and identifying content improvement opportunities.
- Alignment of the KM Resources- we can be used as an independent third party to review solutions for the client to identify areas of concern or inefficient operation.
The balanced scorecard is understood across the industry - but alignment across resources and increasing knowledge utilization are not achieved simply by looking at the scores. Most dashboard show outcome measures and break them down into parts. They don't reconcile the interdependencies which can reinforce or limit the outcomes. Our Focus Dashboards create focus on the things which will have the most impact and promotes the least amount of effort. A scoring template is used and gives a quantified view to phase in the progress to be made and gauge the effort needed by the business.
Content Normalization
Content normalization is a process of optimizing Company's content to minimize redundancy and increase relevancy of documents. Properly normalized content is required for being able efficiently leverage knowledgebase for customers self-service and support processes.
Knowledge Loop provides tools to determine content deficiencies by analyzing utilization of documentation and determining most optimal ways for combining relevant documents, splitting hard to read and understand documents, creating documents to close "content gaps" and tagging documents to business taxonomy for browsing and rapid issues resolution via self-service or agent assisted help.
I addition to providing software tools, Knowledge Loop also provides consulting services to help companies with the initial content normalization and setting up processes to maintain normalized content going forward.

Our methodology has evolved from the core principles of Knowledge Centered Support (KCS). KCS methodology stated that capturing, structuring and reusing knowledge was the FIRST step, monitoring, measuring and assessing was the SECOND step, and maintaining and improving was the THIRD step. These map to the three-dimensional workflow loops. However, KCS created little connection between the three steps, and consequently most organizations expended their energies in the first step.
KCS intersects with organizational dynamics where knowledge and performance management (business and individual) meet. Organizations developed KCS metrics around 1) participation, 2) solutions created and reused, 3) time to relief and resolutions and 4) call defection. A trend review of today's performance measures clearly indicates organization commitment and operational results. As organizations gained mind-share about the importance of managing knowledge, results began emerging. However, the core focus of the business remained on its products and its customers. Consequently, KCS becomes the daily vitamin the organization must take to maintain its knowledge health but struggle to do so because the needed mind-share is a distraction from the primary business focus. This fundamental KCS conflict can only be resolved when its performance metrics align with the core values of the business.

Flexible Space Options

The data center has multiple levels of physical security systems, including biometric palm scanners at entrances to control entry and card access at all interior and exterior doors. Fire Protection
